hi all
first post sorry that it has to be one of a can you help situation, but i promise ill post up pics of my 300gts when its finished, cos some nice upgrades upcomming

i can not figure out where this plug goes or if it goes into nothing...
arghh

any help would be greatly appreciated

theres also this little rd cap i think goes into but im not sure

its the one highlighted in green

If you don't have the Vespa alarm you can use it to power running lights or charger sockets or stuff like that.
There is a D+ signal on it (12 volt + live wire only with ignition on)

Scooterwest has a nice knee pad cover replacement that has a 12 v cigarette lighter plug that uses that plug and then you can charge your iPhone, GPS, etc, I have done that for my vespa and find it quite helpful, that with a RAM mount to hold the iPhone and I am set. They have a video describing how to set it up.

Or you could have look in the projects section and find a very simple and very low cost project posted by Cincinatti John. I've done it and it is Avery professional solution to provide a power socket and indicator bleeper.
