This spring we are getting the 2015 Primavera 50cc and 150cc and another TBA "to be announced" 50cc and 150cc. It has not been officially named yet.

The TBA 150cc model has ABS, Traction Control and costs a few hundred more than the Primavera. Comes in different colors than the Primavera. Uses some of the same stuff the 946 has (opinion--probably the dash and lights). The TBA 50cc does not have ABS/TC.

Probably best to think of the TBA model as a Primavera "Pro" or "S" version. Its supposed to be an higher-end model than the Primavera. Probably similar to the current LX and S lines.

Official prices, colors and time frames listed below --

all these will be 2015 model years

Primavera 50 4-stroke 4 valve $3,599-March 2014
Primavera 150ie 3v 3-valve $4,799-March 2014
"New TBA" 50 4-stroke 4 valve $3,699-May 2014
"New TBA" 150ie 3v ABS/ASR 3-valve $5,099-May 2014

Primavera Colors and -- Seat Color
AZZURRO MARECHIARO--GRAY
MARRONE CRETA SENESE--BEIGE
DRAGON RED--GRAY
VOLCANO BLACK--RED
MONTEBIANCO WHITE--RED
MIDNIGHT BLUE--BEIGE

"New TBA" Colors and -- Seat Color
BLU GAIOLA--BLACK
POSITANO YELLOW--BLACK
MONTEBIANCO WHITE--BLACK
DRAGON RED--BLACK
SHINY BLACK--BLACK

Any chance of a modern small frame 50cc?

ABS/ASR was an obvious homologation with the 946. Im surprised it took this long to get to the states.

Well I'm assuming its all based on the relatively enormous primavera frame.

THIS... is the info I received and what I was trying to say.....
Thank you AF1....

The new TBA Vespa will most likely be called the "Sprint" if judging by the link provided by Der Blechfahrer that shows the crate pic of the new Primavera and Sprint.

Al Davis, the new Primavera is actually 6 lbs less than the LX and also more narrow. From reading the first tests in French online reviews, the 150 at least is no slouch (although they test the 125)

Gore-tx: i googled the color, and Vespa did make that color before on a small frame. it is kind of a deep mustard yellow. It does look pretty damn good. I just hope it comes with black rims!!
and the Blue, although not shown, when you google it, you get an idea of what the color looks like. This might be my favorite!!

Huh? How did you conclude that the Primavera frame is larger than the LX frame?

I think another clue that we were always going to get bigger wheels on the Primavera frame is the fact that the 11" wheels look slightly undersized, like the front mudguard has been designed to accept a bigger wheel.

I wonder how many "Can I upgrade my Primavera to S 12inch wheels?" threads we'll see...

They are both huge in comparison to a lot of 50cc scoots.

GTS thread....
So...this thread needs to be re-named.
To be clear, it isnt now, nor ever was REALLY about that "hinted" new GTS as the name implies?

Here is the link to more small frame in that color.

Oh, that color is just begging for a P! sticker even though it's not a p-series.

Most manufacturers make a 50 and a 125/150 on the same frame. One of the few exceptions is the Honda Metropolitan - and it is so small that I feel awkward sitting on one (like a monkey on a football). I'd say the possibility of a Vespa sized like that is pretty small.

They do, at least in the UK - one of my riding buddies has one (shown here on a short ferry hop over one of the Norfolk broads this summer)

They might have to...
Right now it looks like only Michelin makes an 11" rear tire for the Primavera.
Hopefully other brands will follow.

Thanls Alex and i'm sorry you had to get beat up over telling people what was coming., I love my LX but the newer 150's have caught my eye. We'll see. Hopefully Leo will have many years in him. He'll be 8 this summer.
