Good job John. I forget that the the oil collector doesn't work with the clutch I use. I bet the fancy tool fits through the collector. Sorry for the misinfo

Instead of stuffing a rag in the opening, I put a large ziplock bag in there, taped at the corners to the top of the motor. With the right size it provides a great deflector shield and the open mouth even catches the key sometimes...

Your whole description sounds like a vaginal condom.

Now it makes more sense. Yes, if that oil collector was out of the way things get a whole lot simpler! Still a bit difficult because of the case hanging over a portion of the clutch. Tight quarters in there.

Just looked at my old oil collector. Apparently I had removed enough material for the socket to pass through.

Can't you run it w/o that oil collector? do you do this?

I've never run without, I like to get as much oil into the clutch as possible to keep them from dragging...

I run it without the collector coz if I put it in the plates of my DRT SPORT clutch don't separate enough. That said, my clutch with circa500 miles is dragging a bit. That's with 30 weight. I'll try 75 at some point.
