Just got a set of PIAA slim profile horns from the postie. They're somewhat larger than what i had anticipated, just hope my scoot has room for one.

What frequency should I use? 500 or 400hz? (I have searched this before but people have mixed views).

The horn comes in two different models, "low" and "high" tone. Looks like you got the 400Hz. Go with it.

Hmm. Bilingual model the way it looks.

Don't use the 500 Hz...that one's Chinese. Razz emoticon

School of thought is that the lower tone is more audible. I like two-tones at once myself (i want to sound like a train vs. a barge) so I ordered the Screaming Banshee system (they've got a sale on right now) - also crossing my fingers that I can get it to fit.
Good luck!
