My name is Wesley, i'm from Holland. I've been following this forum the last couple of years but haven't post much yet.
I've almost finished my vespa now, so i thought it's time to show you guys what i made out of it.
It all started with a 50cc Vespa LX frame which i bought with some damages on the sides, nothing really bothering.
I wanted to modify 3 things:
1: bigger wheels (hated the space between front wheel and fender and the difference between 11 inch in the front and 10 inch in the back)
I also like the better looks of it, it more looks like a motorscooter now.
It also gives better handling with bigger wheels
2: watercooled engine instead of air cooled (can make it faster with a 70 / 80 cc cilinder and it runs better when its on workingtemp if it's an lc cooled engine)
3: Discbrake in the back, faster means you got to have better brakes so i wanted to go from drum to disc.
Same thing with the wheels, i also like the better looks of having discbrakes in the front and in the back.
