That is a gorgeous color, and scoot, I love it!

This baby joined the Vespa and Stella, filling the Scarabeo's void, in our garage last week.

Id rather have the li150 rust bucket than the tv175.

That used to be Traci's bike. Shes had lambrettas forever.

Bet my ass and a paycheck that it runs great. Its got a 175 topend on it as well with a ele ign upgrade.

Good for you.

When you get tired of it il buy it.

^^ Yes, Yes and yes. It is Traci's Lambretta's. I have been after it for 2-3 years but she was asking too much, all the sudden she put all her scooters for sale and I happen to be in town and snapped it. It runs great, it starts on the first kick every time. The cylinder was done recently and also 12volts conversion. It seems like other people recognized this Lambretta, I am not sure if this has to do with Tracis attending to several scooter rallies or a combination of going to rallies and various shops in several states.

She also sold a Lambreta Pasco, one of the 11 original imported from Brasil to the New York Police department.

Yep they are fine for a wheel barrow, theres 1000,s of lammys over here and we go all over europe on ours, very very rearly see a scoot thats used wareing that kind of tyre, use a soft compound what ever the tred pattern, down side is you only get a year out of a good tyre on the rear, those tyres on the red lammy leave a dry footprint in the rain and get warm very qwickly, same compound as one of the Dunlop race tyres, but if you want to shod your scoot in 1960,s type tyres who am i to argue, happy christmas, buster.

Haha hardly.....still love the GTS....it's just different.

Jimmy the rust was removed with a chemical dip by a place called Metalstrip in New England. Let me dig up the before pics and I will post them.

As for the tires I have a new set of Michelin S1's I am going to put on. I will put these Pirellis on my Li150 since the tires on that one are shot.

Yeah it has been very cold down here in GA the past few days. Much better than the nonstop rain we have been having.

K48's? It never rains in LA. But ok. I think they look cool.

If you want a classic tread with modern stick I highly recommend Heindau K38's. It is is what I run on my TV and quite frankly I will put another set on as soon as I wear them out. It sucks they are so pricey, but I don't mess around with tires. Those fuckers hug the ground and are butter smooth. I also run K61's Racers on another Lambretta bike and am quite happy with those as well. Heidenau = family business. I dig that. Probably another reason I don't mind paying a bit more.

Get em' from Jet200 not the other dude selling em.

Dont know if the S1s are the same in the states but they were a good tyre, the S1s over here are now made in a different hard compound, not as good, but a step in the right direction, Yokohamas and Heindau's are good rubber, heard some bad things about Schwalbe's over here, atb, buster.

No dummy, k58's......I know what I want. They have them in 3.5x10 at heidenau. The k47 will probably end up being what I get.

And its not the rain that'll kill ya its the morning dew and marine layer at 5am that'll bite ya in your ass.

You probably wouldn't know what its like at 5am, I've seen your office hours haha

Yeah, he get's up at 6AM and then spends the next 3 hours thinking about going to the gym and all the errands he's got to run followed by two hours of managing his fantasy NFL team. Then he talks about trying to get out of the house for another two hours. Another hour spent turning screws on a carburetor. It reads like some ADD "What did I do with my day?" pamphlet.

(Somewhere in there is an hour selecting a different filter for the picture of his Lambretta.)

Ha! That is pretty hilarious.

It goes more like this though. Wake up at 6 am, make coffee, listen to some music, walk the dog, smoke some weed, work my consulting job for a couple hours, run to the gym, eat lunch, stop by your house and piss a couple more hours away (smoke some more weed and/or drink some beer), invariably that gets interrupted by an email or phone call from a client needing some poorly planned last minute work done, drink more coffee, run to the grocery store and pick up ingredients for dinner, walk the dog, spend some time in the garage with the dog tinkering around (it has been hub/brakes lately), make dinner for the family, give the kid a bubble bath, finish up my last minute consulting/design work, and then get online and obsess about scooter shit which = pissing time and money away.

I recommend taking stuff apart first and then asking a bunch of questions. If you don't get any answers you can just buy another scooter. The up-side is you get to add another scooter to your list of owned scooters. Even if it is a pile, it counts!

I am glad to hear you finally got all those expensive trick parts put together. I get it. It's cool. Hey when are you getting that custom Mark Broadhurst modified Mark Broadhurst cylinder for the Jet? Man that's gonna be awesome. Laughing emoticon
