I just acquired a 2007 Element SC and I know that my 65 VBB will fit in it fine, but was curious if anyone else has tried to stuff a GTS250 inside the back of one? I'm sure the mirrors will need to come off, but before I tried, I wondered if anyone else had already? Thanks.

It will fit but you will need to take off the front wheel as well as the mirrors. I've attached photographic evidence.

There was a guy who rode the local trails events that brought his bike in an Element. Granted he removed the front wheel, but a trials bike is much bigger than a scoot. I thought I had a photo somewhere but am unable to locate.

Remove the front wheel?? For length or what? That seems to be too much.

You're only removing the 5 lug screws to pop the wheel off. You don't mess with the brake caliper or anything else. It was necessary to reduce the overall height at the front end.
