Modern Vespa

So, I went to the Dealer today to purchase a Top case for my GTV 300.
They wanted $699 for the case.

Then I asked how much for the larger windshield ? And he said, $599

I contacted the dealer and give him an online price of $499 for the top case.
Sold!

Are these prices correct? Should I be looking some place else for these items?

That windshield will not fit the GTV. The GTV needs this one:

The reason for the extra cost of the top case is the backrest has leather matching the seat. If you can get it for $500.00 that's a bargain

Top case for lx 50 and lx150 are 399.So yah there not cheap.

After market things aren't as pricey.

I have an oem tall windshield for the GTV that I used for two months that I'd sell! PM me and we'll work out the details.

It took a very long time, however, my OEM top-case arrived today from Scooter Crazy to the American Mid-West from the UK. It is the whole kit with the mounting stuff and handle-bar weights and seemingly everything needed. Total cost (British pounds) was 141.66 or $234.29 and shipping cost of 32.00 or $52.92 total 173.66 or again in US dollars

I wanted to see it before I posted anything, without a doubt it is the OEM Vespa top-box. I also picked up the "Add-More" Run/Turn/Brake LED light set which I believe is just about to get the Vespa together as to how I have "dreamed" of my wanted doo-dads
