I want to fit a genuine vespa flyscreen on my GTS300 .
On my last scooter a piaggio FLY 125 I had to file/sand the holes bigger in the bottom plastic headset , The 17mm hex bar that you use to tighten the screen on would hit the top part and side & grind the paint/plastic away

How was the screen fitting on your GTS did you have to remove some of the bottom headset hole plastic

I agree there's not much room, and that the surrounding plastic has some small nicks, but I manage to get the job done with an adjustable crescent wrench without alterations to the headset.

Unless something's bent or misaligned (in which case you've other problems!) then there's enough clearance to add a screen without tweaking any plastic.

When I bought my GT200 used, it had a 17mm wrench which I left in the pet box in case I needed to tighten it while on a ride. I haven't had that issue yet....

There is room for the wrench, but you have to be delicate!

I also used a Dremel to make a smack cut for the GPS power cord to exit the headset and go to the RAM Mount. I can take a picture if anyone wants to see it....
