I dont know much about lambrettas. I'm not interested in this one its just not pretty enough. Can't get a link to post. For $500 it could be a cool project. Maybe someone will have some insight that will force me to go look at it, and start another project. 1958 lambretta 125la.

That's a LD125, I brought one a while ago, and when it came time to sell no one was interested, something about slow, lack of tuning options, and later motors will not fit!
I brought it coz it looked cool, and I loved th front guard... So put it on my Vespa

I hear there a pain to work on,parts hard to find.

Then there's specific tools to buy.
