Why not?
That is all.

Long sordid tale of power, greed, and sexual prowess. Destined to die in the annals of MV.
In other words. You had to be there. |

But populated by the handy!
And with more Oriental restaurants than I ever imagined! A very nice place you live in! That's the peak of civilization IMO! |

Ouch, there's a cultural food shift. Here too. We found a grocer that has a entire aisle, two sides, over 150' X 6' of Mexican products. Our salvation! Here it's a choice between Taco Johns or Taco Bell, and locals actually argue over which one is authentic. I was always confused by all the northerners that vacation in Mexico and love it but don't support Mexican restaurants. Until I finally realized they eat American style food at the Mexican resorts.

Persona Grata awards have all been given to MV wanna-be honorees. Maybe Jess will be taking roll call and giving everyone an automatic thumbs up. You my dear does not need any more honors on here. There is no doubt how much I enjoy you and your posts. In the beggining they used to keep me on my toes. Now they are an assurance that I belong.

Thanks Jesse. You're preaching to the choir. Every year in Las Vegas, for 15 years, I had an employee holiday buffet. A majority, about 35 of my staff were from South and Central american countries and another 10 from Mexico. Everyone brought what they considered to be their National dishes. I was spoiled and amazed by the variety. It also created a monster. My favorite memories are of fish tacos follow by a limon ice in the town square of Santa Rosalia Baja. Just down the street from the Eiffel iron church.
My favorite mole comes from Michoacan, but has many variations, even in a single region. |
