Yesterday Dobroman and I rode to Troy to meet Capt. Gary for lunch. The three of us are going to ride to the Rally together. We plan to make the trip a leisurely one and take in a little of the Natchez Trace Parkway. Dobroman and I are going to tent camp during the rally. Is anyone else tent camping? Where is a good place to camp?

Raputtak, we have booked a site at the Graceland RV Park and Campground. We will be camping there Thursday through Sunday night. Are you riding a 50 from North Carolina?

Heck no! I am putting it on my pocket and driving my truck. Well, on the Versahaul, actually.

We are going to be riding up on our Vespas. The route we are taking is about 380 miles from Montgomery. We plan to camp near Starkville, Mississippi and ride a little of the Natchez Trace Parkway on the second day

Three weeks to go!

Dobroman and I are excited about going! I'll be riding my grey GT 200 and he will be riding his white GTS 300 Super.

I was looking forward to the rally but after seeing that Gus's Fried Chicken is one of the destinations I was like Holy Hell I can't wait.

Registered, hotels booked, route planned.

All I need now is a scooter.

I'm there too! Good to be getting back to my hometown.

The 50 is still in the capable hands of the dear folks at Scoot Richmond so I will bring the GTS300 again.

The rain prevented us from going. We will be at the meet and greet at TJ Mulligan's tomorrow night though. Here is another picture from Beale Street last night.

We are riding through Shelby Forest today.

What a great time! I hope all the guys from AL who were scooting home are safe. Weather yesterday was terrible and more storms on the way. Ride safely! See you all next year.

It was nice to have met ya'll. I rode home alone yesterday through heavy rain. My plan to outrun the rain didn't succeed. Dobroman and Capt. Gary are riding home today.

Yeh, I checked Gary's spot meter earlier and it's not showing any movement today.

I hope they wait it out. Looks like another round is scheduled to come thru later today.

Oh well, more BBQ time for them in Memphis!

eli1172, they are in route now. They have been dry so far but it looks like they are going to hit rain about 30 miles or so from home.

Home safe and sound. A great rally! Kudos to the Memphis Kings for all they did. Now I must sort out the pictures and Gymkhana video.

I stopped off in Nashville on the way home and took in the Country Music Hall of Fame and saw The Time Jumpers at 3rd and Lindsley. A talented, all-star bluegrass band.


As me dear old mother would say, "It's nice to go away but it's even nicer to come home"
