After goofing around on a FB page. I found myself unable to log back in and it had disappeared from my feed.

When I googled what had happened, I found that I had been BLOCKED!

For the first time in my life, I have been BOOTED!

How about you? Ever been escorted out or asked to leave?

Nope I got tossed from their page. I can no long log onto their page. I can't even see it in any fashion while logged in as me.

I am a terrible person. First the pot of coffee, now this.

My whack-a-doodle sister blocked me on FB once. Not because I did anything, said anything, or wrote something that offended someone, but because I was alive. I took it as a good opportunity to take a well deserved rest from maintaining contact.

In the virtual universe, I used to troll the Star Wars AOL chat rooms after the release of Episode 1. I did this because I genuinely believe the movies are crap and some of the worst series of movies ever made and because I enjoyed enraging the nerds who think the films are amazing. I was banned for life and locked out of my AOL account. Fortunately, I was using my step-sister's account.

In the real world, back in the 80s, I was barred from a punk club for excessive stage diving. I had been warned not do it because the club owner didn't want any injuries. Because I was a punk and the nature of the rule only encourage me (and my brethren) to do it more. The cool thing was, I worked for a sound company so if he enforced the ban, the shows would not go on. He gave up and would just go and sit in his office during the show.

I am much more mature now...well sorta.

I blocked my own mother. Yep I did. She loves to post ridiculous political memes. Got tired of seeing it...shshsh don't tell her. Well I didn't block her I just stopped following.

A high school friend blocked me for bringing up an embarrassing thing that happened in the summer of our senior year. She denied it then blocked me. I thought enough time had gone by.

I've been blocked by several people on FB. Because I call out bullshit. Same thing happened on a homeschool board I was on. No great loss. I have a low tolerance for willful ignorance.

Oh, and I got kicked out of my high school chorus's formal end of the year banquet my senior year because I was wearing jeans with my tux shirt, jacket, etc. I sneaked back in and got caught by the teacher. I told him to go fuck himself. Unfortunately the vice principal was standing right there. Got 3 days suspension for that.

I had an acquaintance from high school days that I "friended" on FB and it turned out almost every post he made was a political post designed to get support from like minded people while stirring the pot for everybody else.

I posted two political jokes I knew he wouldn't like and he unfriended me.

Got kicked out of an upscale bar in Portland OR for being too loud. Not for being too drunk which I will admit to, but too loud. As a friend used to say "I've never been that drunk, well maybe once".

Got escorted from one of my daughter's college soccer games. Perhaps I should not have voiced my opinion about the Assistant Referee's knowledge of the game.

I'm no longer allowed in North Korea.

There were too many people to block. The only options were i) block and be blocked and alienated, or...

I chose the honorable Japanese route and seppuku'ed my FB page. I am no more.

Well it was to a 17 year old guy. At a party I inadvertently walked in on a situation with her and one of her basketball teamates. Later she asked me to not tell anyone and I didn't as she was a friend. I didn't think she meant forever. My bad.

I've been 86'd by a few bars. One for being argumentative with the manager when he cut me off because how much I had to drink. Mind you I sincerely was not drunk, nor close to it he was simply guesstimating that I would have to be with the amount I had. Was asked not to come back at a few others for opening a tab with a credit card, then leaving without closing out... Apparently because you haven't signed they're essentially unable to charge you without that signature.

Was banned from a restaurant when I actually forgot to pay the bill at the end of the night because I was overly concerned with my date who went outside, and I simply forgot to go back in and pay.... That was kind of worth it though.

Never been banned or blocked on social networking though. No wait... My aunt actually removed me as a friend on my niece and nephews facebooks because of my subject matter and colorful posting style.

Oh and I was banned from Target stores for 3 years because I was in the company of someone who unbeknownst to me shoplifted.

I'm sure I'll remember others if I keep trying.

I threw myself out of facebook when we had the last presidential election because I just didn't want to see all of the crazy stuff my family was putting on their profiles. Being a centrist, I regularly trolled both camps with much glee but it wasn't worth seeing all of the negativity every day. Now I just go directly to I Can Haz Cheezburger when I want my fill of internet memes.

And I got kicked off the field for mouthing off to a referee during my daughter's elementary soccer career. I think it's a rite of passage for male parents...

Back in my Collage days I was kicked out of a bar.... Well escorted out with two door men using my face to open the door. My dumb ass rugby mates picked a fight. Being a team player and it's not in my nature to leave my mates behind I was in the mix. It would have to be the best experiences (not my face hitting the door part) but because the team bonded. To this day we still have no clue on why we started the fight!!!

I'm not even going to talk about my Army days when we would visit the police's local hangout just for shits and giggles. Fun times.

There are only 35 likes on the page you quoted and only a few posts from people other than the site operator. It looks like your probably not the only person to be blocked off that page.

Not really banned but I thought it was strange. My son and I were on a soccer tour in the UK. We'd gone to see a match and they took us to a bar that used to be a church. Don't remember the town offhand but it was a ways north of Manchester.

Anyhow we walked up to the entrance and as usual my son had a baseball cap on. The fellow at the door said. "Sorry mate but we don't allow anyone with a ball cap on in here."

The interesting thing to me was there was a guy wearing a T Shirt with this on the back. Nick is a horse "f**cker. No ball caps but nasty T Shirts were OK.

Just got banned from a site for the first time ever over the weekend while talking about our local police dept. shooting and killing a homeless veteran for illegal camping here in town...

Me and about 3 dozen members of the Pyruz, Men of Fire and our significant others and various other associates were banned from a campground in the El Dorado National Forest. This was back in early 1980. The place was Hell Hole campgrounds. It was the annual gathering of the Pyruz. We even had t-shirts made up for the event that read "Spend a weekend in Hell with the Pyruz". You can say we were a lively bunch with 5 kegs of beer, whiskey and other libations ,stereo system powered by a generator and a half-dozen huge speakers. It was a great time, but the next morning as we slowly cleaned up (we lived by "leave it cleaner than how you found it") and packed away our gear, a few rangers stopped by to thank us for choosing Hell Hole, but to please not return.

I am banned from my last place of work. The boss still hates me that much. Of course being the worst boss ever he rarely works so I still go in quite often. Employee discounts, free video rentals, and promotional CDs are still coming my way 8 years later

The weird thing is that I know of two people who got fired from there for stealing from him and they are still welcome. Apparently telling someone exactly what you think of them and giving two weeks notice is more offensive than stealing and being immediately fired.

I took a week long ban from MV a couple of years ago. Made a mistake in expressing myself when a fellow member tweaked me. It was a joke but it was on a forbidden topic. Should have used "PM" but didn't really think it through.

Had a couple of persons unfriend me on Facebook thank Jeebus. Types of folks that shout down anyone that disagrees with their view of the world and then call those persons "intolerant". You gotta love it.

I've been deported from England, among other things, but I've got a clean record online.
