Greetings to the forum. I wonder if anyone can help me. I am trying to remove the cover strip on top of the front mudguard, to get to the screw for the headlight casing on my Piaggio liberty 50cc scooter.I have managed to break one of the clips trying to remove it. How do I remove it without damaging any more. Thanks In anticipation.

Can you help me with the location of your problem. The mudguard is a long way from the headlight. Sorry, I'm confused, but might be able to help.
Cheers ®ich

PS: Could you give me the year of your model too?

Prise off the hexagonal Piaggio badge. There's a little indent on the right hand side, into which you can insert a flat screwdriver. It lifts off from the right, with a hooked retaining tab on the left hand side.

Underneath that is a screw - remove it, then slide the 'horncast' (as it seems to be universally known) upwards to release its tabs.
