"The PINASCO TOURING muffler is designed to enhance the performance at both low and high speeds, keeping a low noise level. The innovative design that "comes out of all existing schemes" has been designed to get the gas expansion which allows a significant increasing of the performance even at high speed. The PINASCO TOURING muffler is handmade by skilled craftsmen and it's available for Vespa PX 125-150, item 25560823, and Vespa 200, item 25560824."

Wonder how this compares to the Sip road or BGM pro?

I might consider it for the 8" 200 engine i have in the shop; i was going to modify a rally 180 exhaust for that one for ground clearance.

Yeah I agree with the ugly factor, kind of looks like a car muffler box with caps welded on each end but Rob may have a point with possibly better ground clearence.
I'm sure we'll find out in due course once it's done the rounds but we'll have to wait and see, curious to see how this stacks up performance wise also.

I hope it stacks up.. if it's at least as good as a sip road or the bgm box, I'd get one.. the more I look at it the more I like it.

who's selling it?

I cannot find it anywhere, except in this link which seems to be text from an email...

http://www.vesparesources.com/tuning-largeframe/64134-marmitta-pinasco-touring-per-vespa-px-125-150-200-a.html

Google Translate, got to love it. Not as much as I would love to speak Italian though

Looks like the shape has allowed them to increase the length of the header slightly compared to the sip road/pep 3/big boxes.

Pinasco also have an SI carb lid with a high top suited to venturi intakes, that hasn't shown up in the shops either.

No. But it would mean better less restrictive flow into a Polini-type venturi.

The actual pipe shape seems to make the air flow fast but I am not sure about the actual muffler part. Not only looks ugly but I also have my reservations on the design.

Yes they're also available for the 200. I told you before, use Google Chrome for translation... it's pretty good.

It's ugly but I like ugly when different. I need to drill through my swing arm to install this exhaust.

After seeing this chart comparing the exhaust to sip + and the stock exhaust, I thought it was worth trying.

The black line is the pinasco exhaust.

Whenever I get it on I will prob update the results here.

The Sprint. Strange my 72 Sprint has a veloce engine but the swingarm does not have a hole drilled through like others. It was the last year of the Sprint so they could have put whatever was left over before they went full Veloce.

It is stock and really no comparison to the chart since he up kitted the top end for the results above. I got it from here.http://moto-amore.com/shop/pinasco-touring-exhaust/

Here's the thread using google translate

I finally had time to install this exhaust. No drilling for a single hole swingarm. I had a Sito + that required drilling to secure properly and sounded like crap. This exhaust does not sound much loader then the stock but a a has a deeper sound. Performance was improved in lower gears and top end is about the same. I had to go from a 102 main jet to a 112. Overall I'm satisfied with this exhaust.

scooter-speed.com and Moto-Amore.com have the pinasco VRX carb, tops do other goodies. This is old news if you get pinasco updates on FB or direct. There are also nice new Pinasco 125/150 and 200 cases coming to shops soon.

I like it too. How's the clearance there on the left side, from the tip to the ground?

The Exhaust tip is deff lower then the stock but not bad compared to the sito +. While riding and tuning carb I made a quick left uturn which resulted in a scraping sound. Made the same uturn after changinging the jets And no scraping. Just need to be aware that I lost some clearance on left uturns.
My buddy says it looks like a large can of pork n beans under ther scooter.
