After a LONG winter I finally got the GTV out of the garage again. What a pleasure to get out on the roads. They are nice and dry, but they have lots of sand on them, so corners can be a bit on the dicey side.

Isn't it great to be out again? Bit of a pain to watch for sand on the road, but it's not bad, and riding a bit slower at the start isn't all such a bad idea anyway.

Got mine out today! They were locked in by ice, all winter, and started the first time!
Sand is nothing, compared to the potholes....be careful out there! I guess they are predicting ice out tonite and tomorrow....... Still 10 to 15 degrees below average for the Great Lakes for next weeks predictions... Spring in the north is so short! ![]() |

I've had my GTS out twice for short rides over the last week. Nice to be able to take some short rides but bring on the warmth. Would it be too much to ask for multiple days of 50+ F days? Pretty please. I want to take a nice long ride till my butt hurts and I run low on gas and need to fill-up. I want to arrive home tried but with a big smile.

glad to hear it!
We've been pretty dry and much warmer for a while, but now we're doing what I call the Spring Road Dance, aka The Pothole Polka. Almost proper riding season for everyone again, be safe, have fun! |

Just took mine out of the shed yesterday. Started up first try. Roads are still very sandy up here. Going to do an oil change, etc., on the weekend and hopefully get out on the road within the next week or so. I am having a hard time holding back, but being a relative newbie, I figure it is better to be safe than sorry.
Have a safe riding season everyone. |
