Can anyone get me some pics of their 500s handle bars. I would like a 360 view around. So I can get an idea of where everything goes.

Why you ask.

Well Im glad you did ask.

Oh you didnt ask.

Too bad, Im telling anyway

I am converting the handlebars on my 400 to the 500s. Plastic bits n pieces and all. I much prefer the 500s bars over the 400s and it will be easier to mount things to.

So if you could pretty please.

Oh ok and Ill take pics.

Thank you

Funky, that is one sexy bike, I love that color. Those pics are most excellent, thank you.

Still a couple of questions. What are the wires wrapped in? Did they use split loom or tape. I am also curious where they enter in to the handle bar below the top cover.

I may have to do the led seat box mod. I hate digging for my cell phone or other stuff in the dark.

Presently I don't have my scoot at home, at vespa dallas for a new muffler, but I think it looked like shrink tape, comes out of the steering column area.

As for my color ... thanks ... when I bought the scoot off someone in Dallas, it was BLACK ... they say that you can get your scoot in any color, as long as you like Red or Black. Well, I had this painted a color I could live with, before my first month of owning it. Pissed off the guy I bought it from. He didn't want me to do any more mods on my scoot, and after I got into it, I understand why.

Found a Paint and Trim shop that took my panels and gave me something between Copper and Orange color. Depending on where the light comes from, but I swear the color changes with the light hitting it.

And anyone in the Metroplex can get their scoot painted there also. They do a fantastic job. They are located in Arlington, Texas.

Get the LED lights off Amazon. Be sure to put an on/off switch, as you don't want to run down your battery. The lights come in a 16.4 feet strip, so watch where you cut, it tells you where. But they really light things up in your pet carrier.
