Yes, I watched this yesterday. Good reactions though I thought.

I think what he did wrong (other than the above) was got fixated on the car......which made him drive towards it.

That made me dizzy. So that's what it would look like to be a show off and ride way too fast, and not use correct cornering technique on every curve. Bet his old sphincter valve got a work out when he saw that car.
Speaking of bad riding though. I have to admit that I rode halfway home from work today before I realised I hadn't done up my helmet. Wonder how many people were shaking their heads at the idiot without her helmet done up.

It's the A537 between Buxton and Macclesfield, quite a notoriously dangerous road, especially for bikers.

"Of the 264 casualties on the road since 2001, approximately 70% of those killed or seriously injured were motorcyclists"

There was something on the BBC about it, he walked away with no injuries the lucky bastard.

The way he's walking after the crash, it looks to me like he's filled his pants I've ridden (and driven) that road a number of times, it's a very good road made dangerous by more than a handful of idiots like this..

He is one incredibly lucky sot. I couldn't believe it when he walked over, picked up his camera and climbed back up to the road.

At least he had the sense to pick the lesser of two evils: head-on with the Toyota or a flying leap into oblivion.

Wait - upon further reflection, he's just an asshat. A blessed asshat, but an asshat nonetheless.

It is fun at any speed, you certainly don't need to be flying to enjoy it. Some people are just made that way I guess.

Me and the boss was watching this, and he said, "classic mistake of going to fast, and not being aware of the curve"- he basically got what he deserved, and by the outcome of this little " error" the police would like to have a word with him...

He doesn't appear to have very good lines especially to be riding that fast on that road.

Was quite funny though when he was climbing back up to the road. Looked like a monkey or troll in a riding suit.

He reeled more in and the bike took him for the ride.

I did something similar on a guy's H1 once. Didn't do the spectacular exit but I should have.

I think this poor fellow might've been thinking he forgot the first layer of AGATT after this landing. It might be the angle etc of the camera but man, he sure looks like he had a surprise visit of incontinence.

I only wish him the best and am reminded not to buy good deals on "lightly used leathers" over the internet.
