Ok, so I got the bike lift, and I got the 24mm socket for the plug, and I changed the oil with no issues EXCEPT- I'm new to this oil filter thing, what is the MV choice of tool to remove the filter?

I searched and found a variety of tools, which one do the other BV-250 users prefer?

I use what is called a "drag link socket" which is basically a large slotted screwdriver socket

Works well with the filters with the groove on end

Yep, that's the kind of filter I"m talking about. I'm pretty sure a 7mm key won't work.....

The 7mm key works very well - it's the only tool I've used for years on those filters.

You have to keep the short end pushed along the slot with one hand while you turn the long end with the other.
