Check your battery cable connections. Mine was loose and it caused my headlight to not come on. Might be a bad connection. Cat help you there. Check your fuses. Prob not but its easy. There under the horn cast. This should get you started. Good luck

Check operation of the headlight relay, if that's OK check continuity of the Hi-Lo switch.

Your best bet is to find a mate at work who knows what they're doing with electrics.

Hi Jimc
a fitter has tested the relay and it read 22.7?
Hes asked me to find out if thats a good reading or not for a Vespa relay?
He thinks it should be around 74?
What`s your view
Thx

There is a fuse case in there. Shouldn't be hard to find. I have a '07. We have fuse box there and by the battery. Doubt it's the fuse tho. I'd go look but my hands are bothering me today. The horn cast is a bitch to get off for me at least .

The important thing is if the relay 'makes' when volts are applied, and if then the contacts become a very low resistance (a short-circuit in effect). I don't know the coil resistance off-hand - I would expect it to be several hundred ohms.
