How old does a Vespa have to be in order to be considered 'Vintage'? From what I've seen so far, the cutoff seems to be in the 80's somewhere but maybe it depends on the model?
Also, is there an online resource that shows how many units of a particular scooter were made per year? I was wondering how many other brothers & sisters my '03 ET2 has.

As far as vintage Vespas go, the Rally 200, which was made up until 1979, would be last model to be considered as vintage. The P series are considered classics. The model started before the '79 cut off, but the angular looks are a more modern '80s look. Still, they are great machines, real work horses.

Actually, now that look at what I wrote I think that vintage models probably stop with the VBB, GS and GL models. So, in my mind anyway, vintage stops in the late 60s. Classics start after that with the straighter lines and accents.
