Who has a mid height windscreen for an lx150 they really like? I have searched and read a lot of old threads, but most of the windscreen recs are from people with larger scoots. I like the idea of the faco twin screen, but they don't make one for an lx. Anyone want to vouch for theirs? Thanks!

I have the flyscreen on my LX150 and I really like it. Has been on since my second month after purchasing in 2007. It is not the Vespa brand but I think it says Cuppini on it. Shields the wind and the scoot is a couple of mph faster.

I have the Faco midsized windshield. I am 5'8", if I rest my hands on the bars I am fine, but if I sit up straight I get wind in the eyes at 40+mph.

I made a Mojave Full Moon Ride -- 150+ miles on the freeways, 60 miles through the Park, 30 down CA62 back to the freeway, and 100+ miles back home. On the Scoot was the third. First was on the Savage with a Flyscreen, and the second with a Street Shield.

The test is on I-10 going back west to L.A. in the early morning. 60 mph plus a 30 mph headwind is... ah... fun. On the Savage with the Flyscreen I had to lay on tank, not fun at all. On the Street Shield I was totally comfortable. On the Vespa, down CA-62 the windshield was useless due to the 30 mph sidewind. Hanging a right onto the Interstate the Vespa was totally comfortable, altho' not quite as fast as the Savage.

Unlike the Street Screen, the Faco Midsize Windscreen covers my hands. On the Savage my hands went numb with temperatures below 58 degrees. On the Vespa I am good down to 50 degrees

I had a Cuppini large screen on my LX150 that I got because it covered my hands. But it was too tall. It blocked all the wind. I might as well have been in the car. And I hated the look.

I cut it down to mid height. It was horrible. It looked great but I got turbulence at helmet level that rumbled in my ears, worried I would go deaf. That's when I started riding with earplugs.

Finally cut it down to fly screen height and it was really good.

Quality wise the Cuppini was great.

Thanks. Helpful feedback. I'm finding that the more I read, things get both more clear and more confusing as more options emerge. I'm wondering if I should just start with a flyscreens with the type of riding I'm starting with- a couple of miles each day, all side streets, really not going above 40 mph.
It was yesterday I realized I probably need one of these things. I went for a ride with temps in the low 40s and a light rain. The wind hitting my chest was cold!
