Hi all,
I just put my battery back in my ET2 after winter. Black to negative; red to positive. When I try to start it, it just whines. I can kickstart it and it seems to run ok, but even after running for 5 minutes or so, the electric start doesn't work.

Is the battery dead? If so, can I charge it by running it? How long does it take to charge?

Open up the transmission cover and clean the bendix gear.
