My daughter got married about 4 years ago in Cabo San Lucas and we stayed at the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar. Beautiful place with great service. It takes about 10 minutes to get in to town because we wanted a bit more peace and quiet. Her in laws have a place down there and usually stay from Thanksgiving to Easter, and then head back because it gets so hot during the summer. Lot's of great places to eat for a fraction of what you would pay here.
Totally agree, great place to visit. We stayed at the Sheraton in Puarta Valarta (sp?) about 7 years ago. Very nice. You might find food prices have gone a little crazy of late. My wife and I shared a club sandwich, piece of cake, coke and a beer at Senior Sweets in the mall in Cabo. $32.00 plus tip. Last year we splurged and tried the McDonalds at Wal-Mart...2 cokes, 2 cheeseburgers, about $7.00. And, not too good. Compared other prices and for the most part are no deal. We did the all inclusive at the Riu and for us, its the way to go. Food was excellent.
