Mickey Rooney died today at 93. A full long life but a great actor and performer. I have many fond memories of him RIP Mr. Rooney.

So sad. Seems like I grew up with him at the local movie house. My favorite, 'Young Thomas Edison.' Got me hooked on the Morse Code that I could never seem to master....RIP Mickey

I had the pleasure of meeting Mickey Rooney when he testified before a senate committee on elder abuse. I sat next to him and operated the TelePrompTer for his prepared statement.

He was the nicest man you could ever meet. I got to spend about a half hour talking with him while I set up the prompter. That was fun.

Rest in Peace Mickey.

Good experience.....lucky you. I saw the video of his testimony....sad to be at that point.
