Its finely warm enough for me to paint without counting on my heater. Rescuffing all the metal I prepped before making sure its clean. I've painted a few projects in my day nothing exciting just needs to be done right. Kinda debating using the touch up hvlp gun for the entire job. What's everyone's thoughts on this. Typical paint gun shoots about an 8 inch patern. After you overlap you have around a 6 inch usable strip. The touch up gun shoots a narrower pattern 4 inch at max. Its good for door jams and projects with a lot of curves where you can't use the larger pattern without over spraying. Down side of the small pattern is it doesn't put much paint down at a time and takes forever to cover large areasim guessing it will be six of one and a half dozen of the other as to what works better. .

Use what you got. Quality of the paint is more important. And the small gun may come in handy in some spots like at the back of the leg shield, inside the fender, etc... Wet sanding cures a multitude of sins.
