Hi guys

In an old post I wrote that my LX50 didn't like sitting around for more than 2 days as on day 3 it will normally need a kick start.

I went to start it this morning and the ignition was very laboured and and the engine wouldn't start. It started straight away when I kick started it. Stupid me turned it off as I wanted to test the ignition again and it wouldn't start. So I went to kick start it and it wouldn't start as I believe I flooded the engine. I left it 5 mins and kick started it again, and it started. It seems to be the battery so I invested in a new one today (yet to be installed). I'm hoping I haven't wasted £35!!

A new battery won't do any harm and then at least you know it's done for a few years. Mine began failing to start after around 3 or 4 days and after it made me late for work a couple of times I went and got a new battery. Never failed to start again.
