Modern Vespa

With thanks to Battery Tender and to Seafoam fuel treatment, both of my Vespas, my motorcycles, and cars stored all winter fired immediately and ran flawlessly...two years row.

did the battery tender this winter for the first time &, as you say, instant start up!

Same here sort of. Except I had Sta-Bil. I bought the tender last fall and it sat on a shelf until about a month ago. Finally got to connecting it. I didn't try to start it then, so I don't know what was left in the battery. Long story short, combination of the above and good luck, she started right up last week. I think riding season is here to stay now (except for a rainy pattern we're coming into). As an aside, it's the original battery from 2008.
