I saw this today and thought it kind of weird. Yes, it is (or was) a small boat or het ski trailer, reconfigured with a wood floor of some sort strapped on top. Then assorted yard tools, workout equipment, etc tied to the wood floor with nylon rope.

Skank yells back, "Don't grow them if you dont want people to pick them. Go ahead and call the cops. I've had the cops called on me before." SMH The answer might be "If you don't want pounded with a baseball bat, don't steal other people's work and belongings." So, now we are all on the lookout for the skank. I will hobble to my porch on my crutches and cheer if I see the police hauling her off to jail.

Hows about some community work? ![]() Super, I know the feeling. I once started a prairie in my yard. It was full of black-eyed susans the second year. I was coming home one day when I spotted a couple walking along the road triumphantly carrying a bunch of them, roots and all I passed them, then turned around to ask where they found them.....even though the answer was obvious. I gave them a few comments about private property and all. I know I had a zillion of them, and wouldn't have missed them if I didn't know, but still you just don't go on someone's property and help yourself to what you want. |

Weird shit people believe
Maybe not quite 'weird shit I saw', but closely related 'weird shit people believe http://www.viewzone.com/chemtrails.html
I can't believe people believe there is a conspiracy to spray chemicals out of aircraft to achieve climate change or mind control or some other equally ludicrous purpose. |

Didn't know that
For you vintage members. Just ran across this. Remember Froggy on the old "Our Gang" comedy series?
Read that he was killed at only 16 years old. How? Motor scooter wreck. Here's the Wikipedia story.... "Laughlin died on August 31, 1948 after a truck hit him while he was delivering newspapers and riding a motor scooter near his home in La Puente, California. He died in a nearby hospital six hours later. A 16-year-old friend who was operating the scooter survived with minor injuries. The youths were riding a Cushman Motor Scooter given to Laughlin by his parents two weeks prior to the accident. Laughlin lived the shortest life of the actors who appeared in the Our Gang films, dying at age 16." ![]() Froggy Laughlin, 1941

Saw someone with a clip on cycle light flashing way on the back of their rucksack yesterday.
Odd thing is they were on foot. On the footpath. In daylight. |

I've got a good one!
Last night I went to see David Hughes at the Blue Boar in Maldon, Essex.
This place is amazing, it was like going back in time. The bar was a hunters paradise. Stuffed animals and weapons lined the walls and the coat rack was made of what looked like buffalo horns! Serving ales brewed on site! The restaurant and hotel area was MY paradise. An Edwardian building that looked like a museum. I felt like everything should of been behind a velvet rope with a "do not touch" sign. Original paintings of many women hung from the walls, and every inch of the place even down the the furniture looked like it had been there since it was built in the 14th century - which it probably has. The room above the bar, where David performed, was another gem! More original paintings hung from the angled ceiling and a wardrobe for the backdrop had me waiting expectantly for Mr Tumnus to stumble out. A suit of Armour in the corner and 4 original death masks hanging from the beam above me! To round off this truly quirky evening - morris dancing was taking place in the courtyard! Here are some pictures.... ![]() Not mine, took it from the website to show you the outside. The Tudor build is the pub and the Edwardian build is the inn.
