I've been working nights (5-5) the last couple days. Riding the Bonnie home is giving me numb face!

Found out there's a market for vintage used helmets, today. How weird is that? Someone will even recondition them. I hope there sitting on a cabinet for show and not being worn.

Okay, this has me baffled.

On a recent business trip I was seated in business class (a rare treat) and was given one of those little zippered pouches with all kinds of goodies in it; eye shades, tooth brush, toothpaste, moisturizer, socks, mouthwash etc.

In there with all the other stuff was the item pictured at the end of this post.

At first I was a bit embarrassed that I didn't know what it was. But as I looked around, I noticed that several other people poking around in their amenities kit were holding up this item in a manner that made it clear they also had no idea what it was.

A few of us ventured guesses, but even the flight attendant we asked was stumped.

Any ideas?

So I am crusing up Comanche, a favorite east west secondary street, the speed limit is 30 I might be doing 33 and the traffick is light, and a harlely comes around me very quickly. It is a bit mild for February 60* or so, but hardly warm enogh for the blue and gold macaw and the umbrella cockatoo clutching the back of his denim jacket. I know a little of hook bills, and they did not look at all at ease. I used to take my scarlet macaw for bicycle rides, slow lazy bicycle rides long ago but that wason warm days and at an easy pace. I've seen this dude out riding before - probably a couple of years ago... I would agree (regardless of temperature) that it is unlikely his birds are having that great of a time with the way he rides.

This wasn't today and sadly I don't have pics. A few years ago during a long layover in the Denver airport during heavy snow, I saw 2 baggage trains doing donuts in the snow and a few bags bell off of the carts into the snow. They just left and did not come back.

Saw a Ural with a sidecar doing donuts in the snow in a parking lot yesterday.
