Why you being so mean to my lovely set of wheels?

I wish I could have gotten a photo of this or my drawing skills were up to snuff, but I'll try to describe it.

We were driving past a motorcycle officer. The officer was on the side of the road by the far left lane, parked next to a jersey barrier. He was parallel to the ground on his side because he had his feet up on the jersey barrier and was resting his upper body across the seat of his motorcycle. All while operating his radar gun at the oncoming traffic.

Had to be on 405 going into Renton. It's always a trap around those curves.

Nope. I-5 Southbound in the downtown Everett area.

At the grocery store. I guess with all the grocery store competition in the Toronto Beaches, maybe Loblaw's is trying a new marketing strategy to target shoppers.

Plant in my grocery store of the same relation?

Saw this rider this morning... considering the cheese grater surface of the bridge, I cringed at the thought of the flesh hitting the ground. Shaking my head...

well the aftermath of them as they were being recovered
not sure how any of them happened

Good of you to stop. Why didn't you tell him to just ride the bike out? I assume it's the rear tyre that had gone flat (it's always the rear tyre). If he leans over the handlebars then and goes slowly he's not going to harm anything. Certainly safer than sitting in the middle of the Blackwall tunnel.

I came out of the movie theatre last night and as I was walking to my bike I noticed something pink tucked in the strap on the seat. I figured it was some sort of advert. Turns out it was a piece of paper covering a wad of $1 bills! 13 of them, to be precise. I have absolutely no clue why someone would have left money on my seat. Truly weird.

My mother made a new friend who's helping to rehab an old half-timber housebarn on our family farm. Visited his place yesterday, and on our tour of his house full of fascinating objects, saw this. Never knew what I was missing.

Wondered if the top compartment with tongs was for ice cubes until I realized that in the 1930's they didn't exist.

Ice cubes existed because there were refrigerators in those days and even so there was ice delivery for those people with iceboxes in their kitchens.

True enough. Maybe a stretch of the imagination for me as in my small-town/rural world it was Depression-era and electricity, when it did come there wasn't much money to do much with it...certainly not Baradios.

Edit: FWIW, seems like it was manufactured in the early '40's (not '30's which I was led to believe), which makes any ice debate moot.

I'm standing in my friends parking lot at his shop this afternoon & I heard something scatter on the pavement as a carload of teenagers drives by. Upon inspection of the area, I find several shattered pieces of what was very recently a glass crack pipe. All I can think of is...

I was riding on Sunset Blvd. from the 405 to Pacific Palisades this morning, most of the time behind one of these.

It's tiny! I could hardly see how the two people inside could fit.

If it had of been a Vespa I would have looked for keys.

Today I saw a accident at a roundabout. Little old lady drove into the side of a tow company ute. Better than me I guess.
