There are other disabling pathologies that do not allow prolonged walking or that in any case in combination with partial inability to walk (me) can be recognized for certification with a parking ticket dedicated to reserved spaces.

I have one ... unfortunately.

I have four disabling diseases, 24 hospitalizations and 15 operations undergone in the last 32 years.
I can walk for short distances but only on flat ground, I can't take the stairs, I have a driving license recognized for the disabled, I don't need an automatic gearbox in the car but I have the possibility of having it for free as a driving aid (on my request or a medical commission), I can bring a scooter as long as it has an automatic gearbox and I often drive less effort because I don't have to use the clutch, it's not there.
Call me a masochist but I don't leave, as long as I can drive I do.
PS: the card in the photo has expired but I have already renewed it (it expires every two or five years, depending on the type of pathology).

I actually have a blue accessible parking pass, but I think I would skip that particular spot if I saw it myself. I haven't severed anything, and I don't need to start now!

Obviously I saw it and I understood the irony (reservered/reserved).

I just kind of watched for a while because it was quite funny. To the right are a load of construction vehicles and bunch of people not giving a shit.

When you have a lot of free time and you don't know what to do, sometimes some people realize that they count little or nothing in the weight of society and then they invent a reason to protest, it doesn't matter against or for whom, doing it and bragging about it is something already; obviously an intervention by a psychologist would be a solution ...

Later in the day I saw a guy make 6 or 7 attempts to order a KFC on the key pad thing when there wasn't anyone queuing at the counter.

I saw the same thing at the Mac in Latina, ten cars lined up outside the Mac Drive and on the other side at the internal service, the empty parking lot and the empty tables.

Here in the US, THEY don't even know what they are protesting about. Doesn't stop them from attending school board meetings though…

I guess when you run out of electrons and the tow truck doesn't carry a gallon of them, you get towed to the nearest charge station. Vehicle stays on flatbed until charged? Wonder how much this tow cost?

A random guy at a random bus stop asked me if I knew anything about a plastic bag that had been left at the stop as I was walking by.

I was also on the opposite side of the road.

Driving home through the countryside near dusk after visiting my mother, saw some shapes near the road. Wasn't sure they were people, but as I got closer, there were several guys standing, one holding a camera and tripod, one kneeling next to a bride in a white dress. In a driveway, with a bit of icy snow. It was 10 degrees Fahrenheit.

Nothing scenic, pretty bad lighting IMO, but hey....why not?

I wonder...on the rare occasion I let my iPhone battery outright die, it takes a few minutes of charging before it can power on. Did they have to charge it enough to be able to put it in reverse or something...? Did the wheels or transmission lock up once the power hit null?

Today returning home with the scooter I was surprised by an unusual and extremely long traffic jam. Finally when at the front of the traffic jam I found out it was created by people cueing to fill up at a tank station.

Now today fuel prices have increased sharply over here and a liter of diesel is now official maximum price 2,08€ (8,7$/gallon if my calculation is correct).

At that tank station there was something weird. It is an unmanned tank station and it advertised on the screen diesel at 1,077€/l or sort of half the price. Prices for gasoline were also abnormally low.

I did not check if that was what was really payed at the pump but according to an on line article in one of the national newspapers it was real for at least a few hours.
The news got around fast and that created this massive traffic jam.

Oof... I accounted for fuel cost hike greed in my future planning. I forgot about the hysteria-induced shortages and the muck that usually comes with hurricanes. Damn. Recalibrating my head....

The weird:
I wasn't expecting a large, blue, plastic wading pool to gently float across a 6-lane artery road. It casually touched down ahead of me in the middle far-side (from where it was coming from) lane...my lane. Of course.
I finally got to use my hazard lights! (I haven't had hazards on a bike since my first, a Buddy 125.) I directed traffic around the big blue floaty while keeping it from getting unpredictable since the wind was still playing with it. Finally, traffic eased up enough that I could haul it back across the road and find a dumpster to stuff it into.

Naturally, the good deed was rewarded with a trouser leg full of sand burrs.
...That I discovered when I adjusted my seating position right after pulling back into traffic.

Somebody I work with is a bit dark.

It's not every day you see a vehicle (truck, in this case) driving diagonally to go straight.

I don't know if it was the wheels, the axles, the frame, or what, but something was definitely bent or warped.

Regardless of what it's called, it was weird as anything...and unsettling to see coming at you on a narrow 2-lane highway. Looked like it was itching to turn left into or in front of me at any moment.

And you would have to wonder if whatever the reason was if it was going to have a major structural failure at any second! Or should I say another major structural failure?

I didn't see anything but I was in a huge Mall yesterday just before the shops opened and they were playing just the keyboard section of Radiohead's Everything in its right place through the sound system.
