Something odd happened at my local supermarket last year during June and in contrast didn't happen this year.
Last year there were a multitude of Pride flags the size of garage doors hanging from the ceiling and each checkout had a flag taped to it around the size of a cooker. It was very colourful and the intentions are good but it did feel a bit over saturated and corporate. This year there was just a cardboard stand that talked about how inclusive the group is. I'm interested to see what they do next year. |

With that amount of downsizing they will be hoping for rain next year and a rainbow to form naturally 🌈

I was trying to decide if I was happy, pissed off, or just weirded out, so I wound up here.
My sorta nice coffee grinder has been hard to keep running unless I hit some mysterious sweet spot adjusting the grind. It was tolerable until lately, customer support has been good in the past, but slow this time, and after some delayed back and forth (like uploading a video at their request...), I removed the case to check it once again. Wiggled a few things, but really did nothing, put it together again, and, well, it works better than it has in years. Meanwhile, our garage door opener reverses quickly after starting to close, which is overcome by a second impulse. I've checked that out, adjusted closing force, etc, nothing works. Somehow last weekend it started working normally all by itself after a month of frustration. Anybody need anything fixed? |

Fledemaus,
I think you have a Poltergeist operating at your house. You may need an Exorcist. Bob Copeland
Check if any of this kind of thing is hanging around
Then get with the weird stuff

Well this is kind of weird.
I brimmed the Kymco with 2 Imperial Gallons ( 9 Litres ) of Shell V - Power Fuel - 99 RON/Octane just for a laugh and rode it mostly on highways between 70 - 75 mph until the tank was on reserve, which took me 190 miles. This means that it's doing 85 mpg. Interesting. |
