There is a guy at the office who busted his foot and has a cast.
Instead of using his crutches to get around he insists on using his good foot to push along one of the plastic office chairs on wheels. He pushes backward facing for speed, and pulls along frontward when accurate steering situations are required. |

I was in Marylebone and I saw a car with the number plate "Hut" and the pizza hut logo next to it. I really wanted to know who it was.... a man passionate about his pizza?

My friend dragged me to see Macaulay Culkin in a pizza themed, cover band. Definitely the weirdest thing I've seen all week.

The Budweiser Clydesdales. In Solomon Island Maryland today I turned a corner and saw them by chance. Parked on the sidewalk and they walked right by me and my scoot.

I am not a native southerner but have lived in the deep south for a long time. We have had extreme racial issues in the past and still have some but they are not as prevalent as outsiders think. It is much different now than a few decades ago. I have traveled over most of the country and have seen bigotry a lot more prevalent and vehement in some other locals than in Alabama where I now reside. |

I have traveled over most of the country and have seen bigotry a lot more prevalent and vehement in some other locals than in Alabama where I now reside.[/quote] This is the part where I grovel & apologize and ask forgiveness...or...I try to explain & risk getting blasted/banished from the forum. I'll try the latter & see what happens because I'm pretty sure you & I actually share the same viewpoint. --- My use of the word "terrible" before the word "racist" was specific & intentional...because racism is terrible (even if you own an NBA team). There is much more I could say to 'prove' I meant no harm & I could elaborate on my credentials & places I've lived in order to back myself up but this is not the forum for this and changing people's minds via typed online text is usually a lost cause (although the fact you didn't just spew profanity at me suggests you're intelligent/rational). If I'm not already banned, I'm sure everyone would prefer this be relegated to a PM conversation. To be honest, I'm hoping this is enough but I have no problem if you choose to PM. --- LC |

Perhaps Alambama is famous for cake, and chocolate is merely a variety of that famous cake.....?
