I recall seeing a taxidermy place in Austin that not only had Jackalopes, but also Pheasalopes and extremely large "owl" faces made from deer butts. Don't think I ever saw a Wolpertinger there, though.

Up until today it was only the thought of chupacabras that kept me up at night. |

Why aren't her feet touching the boards ? Because it's AI Bollocks that's why. |

If they can do that to beer then they should be able to make me a hydrogen powered Vespa

Driving to work this morning and saw a box truck delivering "Liquid Death." The small print said "Drinking water from the Alps."
Now you young 'uns likely know all about this stuff, but it's new to me. First off, pretty weird name for something that doesn't seem to have death-defying things like alcohol, or even a surfeit of caffeine, but secondly, what's the attraction of water from the Alps? I guess there's a unique mineral content, but still, why bottle something up to ship across the ocean anyway? I checked their website and found out the water comes from "beneath hundreds of feet of stone" with "natural minerals." So does my tap water. But the "infinitely recyclable aluminum cans" is pretty tempting. Anyway, on with the day. I'll pass on the water, FWIW. |

I didn't actually see it but tonight the was a very weird rhythmic snuffling noise out in the garden. After fetching my flashlight I find two hedgehogs, one seemed to be panting and I suspect they both were craving whatever passes for a cigarette in hedgehog culture.
Actually what passes for a cigarette these days in our culture? |
