You could have claimed the boat under law. But no, I would not have touched it. We used to see a fair amount of these type of things ranging from wooden rafts to an 80 foot sailboat run up on shore and abandoned. And usually during the warmer months when they could take advantage of the trade winds coming up from the south and east.

It is. I'm sure it was associated with human smuggling. Lots of police helicopter activity last night in that area.
For a time we were getting abandoned pangas from Mexico on drug smuggling missions close by me. Sometimes the bales were still in them. They had nice Yamaha 4 stroke outboards. Would've been nice to put one one my boat but a little difficult to claim salvage rights on those. Haven't seen any recently. |

Not being married I'll have to take your word for it.
It's going to be a dark day when I have to ask someone else can I have something ? Edit, Actually now I've given that a bit more thought it probably takes longer to justify something to myself rather than to refer that question to someone else. |

Last night I dropped $600 on an amplifier. My wife didn't bat an eye because she knows I'll use it. I don't do things like that often or without a lot of forethought and internal debate. She gets me. |

I am visiting my son in Australia at the moment.
My wife and I were walking in downtown Melbourne sightseeing near the National Museum. We saw a 'man' in a dress striding along St Kilda's Rd with a poster that read: "Being born with a vagina does not make you a woman!" |

Got off the bus and I'm waiting at the corner to cross the street when I realize I'm hearing the distinctive theme music from "Halloween." I look over to see a plain black crossover being driven by none other than Michael Myers himself. The light changed and he creepily surveyed the intersection as he turned.
