I dragged an elderly lady out of a bush today.

She'd tripped and fallen backwards into a hedge and just like the lady in the advert - she couldn't get up.

I pulled her out with both hands then she brushed herself down, straightened her wig, thanked me and got on with her day.

True.

If she was truly grateful, she would have offered you her wig...

Before I got there another elderly lady was attempting to pull her out with one hand which was a little comedic and she probably would have made the situation worse if yours truly hadn't pushed her aside.

Oddly enough just before I saw this event I was wondering what kind of happening I was going to witness today as every time I leave the house something significant occurs.

The wig was a bit Cruella Deville if both sides were white.

My next door neighbor's house Sunday morning.

Sorry about the tree, looks like it may have had a problem to break like that, but at least it missed the house!

It seems to have had a slight insect infestation but nothing serious.

We had a huge wind storm Saturday evening across the entire state with gusts up to 100 mph.

The only damage to my neighbor's house was a dent in one of the gutters that was straightened out without using any tools. Others were not so lucky.

My power was out for 8 hours. I don't think power has been completely restored to everyone two and a half days later.

Driving up Broadway past Roscrans last Sunday and I could see & smell a fire up ahead. As I got closer I realized it was a 10' high pile of garbage on fire in the middle of the street. Looks like a fire broke out in the back of a trash truck and the guy just offloaded right there on the street. Just a mountain of flaming garbage on a Sunday folks.

Rain, rain, rain in Minnesota. Lightening is also putting on a show. We had such a large close crash of lightening it knocked two pictures off the wall. I had to go outside to make sure the house was not hit. When that big bang hit the cat ran down to the basement and did not come up for two hours.

Moisture is up, we are making up for a mild almost snowless Winter. Looking like Ireland around here. That last rain fall filled my swimming pool up almost 3 inches. Pretty reliable rain gauged.

We just need sunny days for our scooter group rides.
