With the Porcupine the prick is on the outside. I can't imagine someone liking the vroom vroom sound unless, well if the shoe fits? This too is weird.

Skids, what's the difference between a vacuum cleaner and a Harley? On the Harley, the dirtbag rides on top. 😉

Hey now! I have owned two deferent Sportsters since starting in 1987! Newest one is a 1992 that may be sold in the next week. Both have spent most of the time with be pulling sidecars, the 1988 bought new in 1987 had over 100,000 miles of sidecar use!

Then again at least one independent Harley shop I dealt with a little told me he had no problem selling parts for or working on a Sportster but refused to test ride them as his other customers would give him a hard time if he was seen rideing a Sportster!

The Sportsters, Dynas and FXRs are the best scoots Harley ever made in my book. The Sportster engine is indestructible. I'm not embarrassed to ride one and I'm 6'2.

I don't have anything against Harleys but I've never ridden one.

The Sportster 1200 is the fastest bike in the showroom.

🤣 Did anyone notice I own one, build and maintain them. Here's an FXR frame off build I did for my buddy. 😝 I'm also a dirtbag so I speak from experience!

In the well known and oft told joke I was specifically referring to the BMW cars whose drivers have a generalized reputation of being overly aggressive and not as skilled as they think they are.

The motorcycles are excluded from this group in my opinion the BMW riders as a group are among the most polite and the gender nonspecific term for gentlemanly?

Also I think the Harley jokes and bad reputations are reserved for the Harley snobs and the people that love motorcycles and happen to have a Harley are not included. Some of our (MV) members are excellent examples of this latter group. A Harley snob would have nothing to do with a Vespa forum.

My feeling is that some Harley riders are a very sociable bunch but they tend to have a myopic view of the world while at the same time defaulting to being somewhat haughty.

BMW riders aren't very sociable and appear not to want ride around in judgemental groups as they don't feel the need to be part of something.

Being alone really suits them.

230 cm TV at a goodwill store.

That's 90 freedom units.

For scale the floor tiles are 12 inches, or about 30.5 cm.

Not sure how that works but I've heard they've pitched a remake of "Them" from the ants' perspective.

I was just in a public restroom at a convention center. Guy was washing his hands. His hands were cupped to trap in the running water. I see him spit (he was also rinsing is mouth with water) INTO his cupped hand.

He then proceeded to WASH HIS FACE with the cupped hand water, which from my vantage point, also contained his spit.

Women's World Championship Tag?!

This is a thing?!

Looks like the one of the teams was sponsored by Victoria's Secret.

It seemed kinda cool actually. The team Victoria's Secret uniforms could have been better though.

It was wildly entertaining to watch. I feel like a person can be crafty and not necessarily athletic, and be good at it.

Let me preface this by saying that at one time, back when I was young enough that Skoal and Happy Days were still made, I chewed off and on. I can't recall that I ever did so indoors or on a vehicle, be cause the only thing I considered viable to use for spit was the ground.

A couple of my sons had an extremely irritating habit of using clear plastic soda bottles for spittoons, and leaving them out. I can think of few things as increases and disgusting as a partly full bottle of tobacco spit. I ended up having to get downright iron fisted about it before they got the message to NEVER let me see that again. May as well leave a turd on the carpet.

Weird weather last night. At 11:00 pm it was 72F (22C) near Malibu City Hall and 101F (38C) a mile away at Pepperdine University. It was the hottest day of year and the temperature inversion/offshore flow/marine layer battle was out of control. I thought of riding out there just to go back and forth across that boundary but it's about 30 miles away and I was in bed.

In my home town a Halal Supermarket opened around a year ago and has been successful.

Opposite the shop was a vacant property until a few weeks ago when it also opened as a convenience shop selling some very similar items to the Supermarket close by.

This morning at 3.30 someone drove a car ( on a straight stretch of road ) into the 2nd shop front.

Hmmmmmm.
