"Who Are These Hominins?" – Paleontologists Uncover Mysterious Butchering of 300,000 Year Old Elephant

My question is how did they find a 300,000 year old elephant to butcher? And how is it even possible for an elephant to live for that long??

It's almost as funny as seeing a feral deer problem in the news and the writer and editor let the headline fly!

Just got this email.

It looks legit to me, especially with that email signature line, which I am seriously considering stealing.

Oh, I screenshot the whole thing, I'll have my top guy decode the whole thing. Very spooky.

So my little buddy Siamese Fighting Fish, Darth Beta, whom jumped out of his tank in pursuit of pure joy, flopped and flipped across the floor and dried up like leather, I rescued him and he survived, only to be put down by me in compassionate care, for myself since I'm actually very weak when suffering is present, and he was suffering. He had major joy just terrorizing a beautiful snail that was a gift. Daily I had to move my two snails between all the tanks thinking one tank would be a good home for them. Alas, one snail stayed in the black hole tank, the other lept to his death, probably would have made the fall just fine. But he managed to slime his way to some incense dust and it was the final nail. Be that as it may, I replaced the OG fish with a micro version and plopped him in the "empty tank" well sure as dog doo, he started in of the baby snails that I didn't know were there. So yesterday I purchased another tank for him away from said snails. Easier to remove tiny fish than lots of fragile tiny snail from my gone brother snail. Anyhoo, harmony today, who knows what the morrow brings.

Being a science geek, I keeps mental notes. The farthest I can find is about 2017 that we lost contact with team voyager spacecraft. I thought it was longer ago. Meh.
But news stories about are all over the map.
But apparently we're talking again.
Me wishing I had a neighbor that kept old newspapers.
Now if I can get my eyes on the data they couldn't read, I might retire for a long winter nap reading that.
My spider senses are a bit triggered ROFL emoticon
