This morning I saw an elderly lady walking with a walking stick while she was being serenaded buy a young man with a guitar.

I'm not making that up.

Good on him for entertaining her or good on her for putting up with him.

And earlier this morning I see a women with 4 dogs.

One dog was unleashed and was standing at the waters edge barking at the swans for having the audacity to float in a particularly smug fashion.

The other three dogs ( leashed ) were barking at the dog that was barking at the swans. Smug/Float.

The lady owner was effectively barking at the dog that was barking at the swans who was being barked at by all the other dogs.

The dog that was being effectively barked at by the owner by calling its name didn't give a shit. It just kept on barking and so she just barked louder.

It all just fed on itself and it made me laugh.

I was always warned as a child to keep away from swans as they could break a man's arm!

I suppose (most) dogs don't have arms though, so should be safe enough.

I don't want to sound unpleasant but there's something that's very funny about a dog's owner whose voice is becoming more hysterical the less the dog responds.

Swans are the best.

Now, just to clarify I'm not sure if the 3 leashed dogs were trying to amplify the owners request for the unleashed dog to heel or the pack wanted a piece of the action and felt the need to contribute to the verbal assault aimed at the aqua bound white winged angels.

I know that the owner was in full melt down mode which totally contrasted with the swans majestic indifference.

Swans = Winged honeybadgers in fancy dress.
