Actually there are heaps here. Lots of BMWs and Japanese bikes. Not many Harleys and I've only seen one Moto Guzzi in 2 weeks.

This years "facelift" makes that Ami even uglier.
But you could have it retroed too: https://www.electrive.com/media/2025/02/caselani-type-ami-citroen-2025-1.jpg.webp |

I'm making the assumption that because Citroen are really good at making small displacement cars they thought that a car that could just about get you to the Town Center, Train Station or Church and back home again would be a good seller.
The odd thing is if you look at French and Italian Culture a vehicle of this size and power isn't anything unusual, especially when the streets are quite narrow and the distances are fairly short. I'm also guessing that the limited speed has something to do with either Insurance or Licencing. I wonder how you'd react if your parents bought it for your first car, would you be grateful or too embarrassed to drive it ? |

I have plenty scare for heights, so kind of glad I have been in that gondola before: 2019, and not after this. |

Their speed is limited to 45 kph and so you can drive one from 16 onwards when you have an AM drivers licence. These small Ami's seem to be a hype among high school students in French city's for going to school. ⚠️ Last edited by PeterCC on UTC; edited 1 time

Yesterday I was walking through the Docks at Sheerness in the UK which is where VW, Seat, Cupra, Audi, Peugeot and Citroen store their cars and there were many Ami's there and all of them were registered so I believe that they are selling.
I hate to admit this but I kinda like them. Cheap and accessible EV's to the masses. |

I can't think there will be many 16 year olds buying these that will be endangering the general public by giving them a little extra speed, I imagine more accidents will occur by impatient drivers overtaking them. |

Also, I totally posted about Martha in the wrong thread. She always gets me all flustered like that.
