Modern Vespa

A dinosaur crossing sign on a county road. Seriously. Then I started seeing full size dinosaur statues along the road just inside the edge of the woods - to look natural? I think I was too astounded to take pics. On the way home along the same road I saw a replica Stonehenge that appeared to be built out of large pieces granite.

May ride down that way again soon to take pics before the dines migrate. And no, I was not doing drugs.

Today I saw a one-eye man (he was wearing an eye patch) on crutches trying to jaywalk across 6th Ave. by Balboa Park (San Diego).

I saw a Toyota Prius doing 70 MPH in the fast lane. Clearly it was a stolen vehicle.

People are sick in the head sometimes and you don't know if he was serious or not. Threats like that can't be taken lightly. It is one of those incidents where you might look back and think... i should have called the cops... at least he would get a stern talking to at minimum..

Just a stupid fool trying to be tough. Unless he had a CCW or actually was flashing it's just a nuisance call for LEO. He claimed to have an attorney too. Reminded me of being in the human resources department for a firing. They ALL have attorneys. Thankfully it's a small town and I can smell a bluff. It was more laughable than threatening. Now had it been Las Vegas I'd have responded differently. This nut actually had my sympathy, he was that pathetic. Ranking as weird, not threatening.

I know an attorney who lives on the same block and chased him down at the farmers market. Steve tells me he's the neighborhood grump. Hmmmm a familiar note... Generally prefers to intimidate kids and women. The barrister thought the first mistake was mine by even bothering to communicate with the guy. Typically folks just ride/walk away. I got his dander up by stopping and trying to reason. As I guessed just another Clarence Rutherford III.

I like scooter clubs, they just never let me in, patch or no patch.
