I have been trying to come up with some type of hand guard for my 250 GTS. I do have a medium size windscreen but don't like the buffeting. I have thought about cutting it down as another post demonstrated. Might still do that. However, I got to thinking that Harley's and Gold Wings have these wind spoilers on the edges. I found a site with lots of examples but nothing jumped out as useable then it finally occurred to me that I might some thing that might work. I have a BMW 800 GS with Touratech windscreen spoiler fitted. I took it off and attached it to the side of my micro screen and took it for a test ride. One hand warm, one had cold. I ordered another one. Part number 044-0410. Not cheap but since I already had one, it made the cost half...well sort of. Took it for a 60 mile ride, works perfect and also seems to reduce a bit of the windscreen shake and higher speeds.

Wonder if that would work on the OEM windscreen of a BV 250?

It looks workable.

This was what I used to solve the problem of wind on my knuckles. Worked very well and has the added bonus of LED lights!

Thanks for the compliment! I got them via Ebay. This looks like them:

Had to get slightly longer bolts to accommodate my larger bar ends but fitting was pretty straightforward.
