Hi guys and gals,

got a 2007 MP3 125 with a carb not fuel injection,
took it apart to clean out the two year+ old fuel that was stuck in it lol

was wondering if anyone knows what the zero setting...readings
for the throttle position sensor is supposed to be?

cant see anything in workshop manual...but there is one part to do with idle adjust...

"after adjusting the idle speed, proceed with the TPS zero setting"

any ideas?

ta! Adam.

That was my first thought - but a glance at the circuit diagram shows there is indeed a throttle position sensor. Used to alter the timing of the spark presumably.

Deffo TPS attached to a carb and yeah it will be for CDI mapping and spark advance so I want to make it right as iv taken it off the carb
All I need is a low resistance value for when the throttle is closed a high value when fully open.

Get thee to a dealer, cross their palms with a good 'drink', and have them play with their Piaggio online tools, whatever is the flavour these days (PADS?).

You might get a remap of the CDI in the process. (I think that one is a FLASH unit, could be wrong though.)
