Hi all, I have been a troll for quite a while now but I finally picked up my MP3 500 Sport on Friday.

This bike is amazing, I have found that when I ride it I become invisible to all other motorcycles, having ridden all different BMW's for the last 30 years or so I have become used to waving at and being waved to by other motorcyclists but not any more !!!

Im loving the MP3 but its taking a while to get used to not having a foot rest and having to brake with my left hand but Im getting there.
I fitted my Garmin this afternoon and it looks great above the speedo as in the pics, there is a usb socket on the dash which is switched by the key so I took my sat nav power from there which was handy.

For those in the UK I went to Buy Bitz.com in Aylesbury for the ram mounts for my sat nav, not knowing what I wanted the guy there was really hepfull, one look at the bike and he told me exactly what I needed, well worth a trip.

I will report back on how I get on with the 3.

Paul

Welcome to the forum.

Please put your model # so we all know what you are riding.

Also, look at this, it may help you if you do any MODs or need additional information about your scoot.

Welcome, and I hope you enjoy your bike as much as I enjoy mine. Surprisingly, most large bike riders such as Harleys and Hondas always wave to me here in the US and often pull in to look at mine while I am filling up the gas tank. I was surprised by this at first, because most Harley riders sneer at anyone who doesn't ride one of their bikes.

Hi Paul and welcome and enjoy your new ride,I am quite a newbie after close to 50 years on bikes but it soon comes to you that there is a considerable difference in riding.I still tend to put both feet down at short stops rather than using the tilt lock, just find that habit of a lifetime a bit easier but lovely to stop, tilt lock on,park brake on,get off and walk away, brilliant.
