Hi,iv'e got a question for you guys,ive had a good look about and can't find the answer anywhere,if you fit a 70cc kit can you use the std head or do you need a 70cc head? iv'e seen a few kits about and some come with a head and some don't. cheers Dan

You can use the stock head with many 70cc kits, but most of what you are seeing without the head is for people who have burned up their previoud 70cc kit. Usually you can reuse the head, but not the cylinder, piston or rings.
If you are getting a kit for the street, I would stick with 2 rings. It won't be as fast, but it will last a lot longer. I have good luck with Malossi and DR Racing kits, but Polini, Pinasco, Parmakit and Athena make good stuff too. There are people who swear by Airsal, but I haven't had good luck with their kits. I'm not a fan of Prima or other Chinese kits, and if you are getting an aluminum cylinder with nikasil or ceramic for the same price as the big names are selling cast iron and two rings, it's not going to last, and might not run well out of the box.

I've only seen the malossi and it comes with head.
Good luck matching your head with a kit.Boar and squish is what will have to match
