Probably why I never used it I guess. This is a large frame one if it makes a difference. I seem to have a collection of non Piaggio unused crosses

OEM, NOS or bagged OE crosses are your best bet.

use them FA crosses as ninja stars for dart club night at the pub.

Ten years ago i might have agreed with you, but these days a good chunk of the parts piaggio sells for shifters are made by third parties.

You're usually just paying extra for the bag it comes in, and you're going to throw that away anyway.

I'd have no reservations about using it.

I guess I'll have to defer to Rob on this(or most anything, lol). In the past I've paid double for a Piaggio smallframe cross from a German outfit, but the bag had been opened which left me wondering. Looks like this will be for a budget stock seal/gasket/cross and cork job. Thanks for the replies.
