You're lucky Belkwinith. I love your helmets, especially the ponytail one. In my part of the world the fun police deem any like that illegal, so mine is pretty boring in comparison. The best thing is the bluetooth unit I put on it so I can listen to my music or take phone calls as I ride.

I just put the reflecting design on, so I had a pic handy. I wanted something with a "direction" so that when I turned my head to change lanes, it would be like a second turn signal. At first, I was concerned about possibly "junking up' a nice helmet. But like they say (on a soapbox in the park), "production for use." If it isn't already obvious, I tend to be a minimalist.

Here's my collection , a couple of old school and a bilt with Bluetooth but both of the Vespa helmets are wired for sound also.
And of course all of them have a Scooter Trash sticker on the back.

Funny you should ask. From left to right: My brand new Reevu modular with the stickers still on. Came in the mail today. My Nolan N103. Still a good helmet but getting tired. Unknown model Bell full face. And the red 3/4 one is a Fullmer. It's good for hot weather or short trips.

I left this one in Italy after BellaItalia '12. I was continuing my travels, and didn't want to pack it along. It had been in use for about five years by then, and was getting pretty beat up. I thought some other renter would enjoy the sporty look.

2 questions, I'm looking at a new helmet this year and both of the ones I'm interested in have been mentioned.

Bluefoam, how is the new Bell? That is THE helmet I've been seeing in my head and waiting for. Just discovered it online this week and mentioned it to my wife and she liked it even more so she just ordered that exact helmet today. I like wearing a full face and have been looking for one with a larger face hole and not a lot of doodads and vents all over it. This seems to fit the bill and looks killer. I might hold off until some better colors and designs come out though.

XSTNTL, how is that N43? I'm looking at the new N44 in orange. Seems like a good tech helmet with a nice sized face hole as well.

double bubble

Nice! It looks like you have a snap on 3-snap hinge on the Bell that allows you to add a standard 3-snap bubble shield and gives it "flip-up" capability. Is that right? How does that work?

Sometimes I feel a bit confined in my bubble shield. Especially when sitting at a traffic light on a 114F day. It would be nice to be able to flip the shield up.

The flip up is quite cool! Although it doesn't flip all the way up and it immediately falls down when you ride (doesn't really stay up well), it's nice if you wanna take a swig of water, etc. I like it a lot. I bought it on Amazon for about $17. I think the bubble shield is great, I was worried that I'd feel a little claustrophobic with the regular shield on.
