Modern Vespa

Just got back from my annual service at my superior scooter specialist; scooter crazy in Huddersfield UK. Chewed the fat with them as I always do, interesting in what's new with vespa / piaggio. GTV is now on its third year so was pondering an up-grade...... Word on the street is they ain't doing a new GTV ( in Europe anyways)

Anyone got anything different or similar

Vespa's UK site doesn't list the GTV... only the GTS

I checked it out. I didn't know you could still get a new PX over there.

I noticed the U.S. site didn't list a GTV either. I wonder if they're just taking a break from making them.

I really like my GTV. I've been missing it while it's been at the shop awaiting a new fender, headlight, and shock cover to repair the damage that occurred when I hit the dog that ran out in from of me. The total cost of the repair is going to be around $1,324. I'm glad I have the $500 deductible.

I just looked on the iPad (vespa usa mobile site) and GTV is still listed.

GTV is listed on the USA site, but it's a bit hidden due to (I think) site designer error.

If you look at the VERY bottom of the 'white box' that all the models are in, you see a dark tip of a thing. The Mystery Thing(TM) is right under the GTS300ie super. Click on the tiny dark thing.

I don't think they correctly resized the 'white box' when they added a row to it for the Primavera. Or they were supposed to remove the row the GTV is in but didn't. It's a mystery!

They do the PX here in Aus too.

It may be that the range is thinning out in anticipation of a new large frame model....

We live in hope....

We might see the GTV back once if they manage to resize for the Beverley engine? Keep second hand GTV's hold their money.

GASMK1; Youles in Manchester Ok! Scooter Crazy in huddersfield a totally different breed. Well worth the trip to them, get well looked after. Alderley yeah you 5 mins away

Hi bought mine from scootercrazy really nice to deal with just wasn't sure of driving 35 miles for a service and 35 back, that's why I used youles.
Probably will go Huddersfield next time as they have more scooter related gear, to look at
