Riding home approaching roundabout. Fair way back from a van. Van slaps brakes on. I hit back of van, not quickly.
Stayed in but his front mudguard smashed to bits
Van man had to brake sharply as car in front of him did
He's going in tomorrow for a check up and hopefully new mudguard
Here's the evidence

Sorry, [dick mode off] that you had a prang. I doubt he'll even need a checkup, but mudguard replacement is a pain in the arse.

I remember doing the same thing in the eighties, except I was following a friend, who was driving a Ford Cortina and I smacked him up the chuff at a roundabout when I thought he should have moved off but hadn't. In fact, I remember doing it to Jesse (yes, he of Petty Tyrant fame) when he was riding an LX and I was riding an MP3 in Tuscany in 2010. Fortunately no damage done...
